v1.6.0

Importing your dive logs is here — and it is built to handle real-world history, not just a handful of CSV rows. Whether you have logs scattered across apps and exports, you can now pull your existing dive data into Scubaspot from several popular formats and land with one coherent logbook.

Bring files from Subsurface (SSRF), Divelogs.de (DLD), and Universal Dive Data Format (UDDF) — the same ecosystems many divers already trust — without starting your history from scratch.

Smart merge is where it gets serious: import several files at once, even from different platforms, and let the app detect duplicate dives by date and time. Matching entries fold into a single record while keeping the richest detail from each source, so you get depth, profiles, buddies, and notes where they overlap instead of a mess of doubles.

Before anything is written to your logbook, you stay in control:

  • A clear review step before importing
  • Choose exactly which dives to include
  • Set units in bulk for all dives — metric or imperial — in one pass
  • Mark all dives as private or public in bulk

We have also fixed smaller bugs and polished the UI so the whole flow feels as capable as the feature underneath it.

Happy bubbles!
