Log your dives
A dive log that is quick when you are wet and thorough when you have time.
Log a dive in under a minute
Pick the site, name the dive or tap a suggestion, and fill in depth, duration and time in. Add up to ten photos or videos and save. The entry is done before your gear is rinsed.
Every detail, when you want it
After the essentials, add a star rating, notes, and the details you care about: weather, water, current, temperatures and visibility, your tank pressures and gas mix, and the gear and weight you dived with.
Record the marine life you spotted
Search a catalogue of 4,400+ species by common or scientific name and tick off everything you saw. From ochre stars to green turtles, each sighting stays with the dive it belongs to.
AI spots the marine life in your photos
Upload photos or videos to a dive and the app tries to identify the marine life in them with AI. The species it recognises are added to your dive log automatically, tagged AI, and you can edit them like any other sighting.
See your dive profile
Every dive gets a depth graph with the water temperature. Dives imported from a dive computer show the real samples; for a dive logged by hand the app draws a model and says so. The photos you took sit along the graph at the moment you took them.
Start logging before you sign up
Log your first dives without an account. They stay on your phone and move into your account when you sign up.
Carry on from your old logbook
Dives are numbered for you. Add the dives and hours from a paper logbook once, and your dive numbers and totals carry on from there.
Dive trips
Plan a trip, dive it, and come home with the whole story in one place.
Plan a dive trip
Give the trip a name, dates and a destination, then line up the dive sites you want to dive, from the map or your bucket list. Add buddies, the dive center you are going with, notes and a checklist.
See where you went
The trip map draws the route between the places you dived, with your photos as the markers. A day-by-day timeline shows each day of the trip, rest days included, and the recap counts the dives, the time underwater and the deepest point.
Your dives find their trip
A dive you log during a trip lands on it by its date, and so does a post you share while you are away. Dives and posts from before you planned the trip can be added in one go.
Join trips with dive centers and clubs
Find day trips and multi-day trips run by dive centers and clubs in Search, under Day trips near you and Trips to plan. See the meeting point, times, level, price and spots left, and join with a tap.
Dive buddies
Log once for the whole group, and keep your regular buddies close.
Your regular buddies, ready to go
Keep a list of the people you dive with, whether they use Scubaspot or are just a name. Your usual buddies are filled in on every new dive.
Add a buddy by QR code
Met on the boat? Scan the other diver's Scubaspot code and they are added as your buddy, without typing a name.
Divers and community
A feed and a chat built around dives rather than selfies.
A feed built for divers
See the dives and posts of the divers, clubs and dive centers you follow. Choose a personalised order, or simply the latest first.
Share photos and videos
Post photos and videos with a dive or on their own, and look through them full screen with pinch to zoom.
Interact with the community
Join the conversation with fellow divers. Like and comment on dives and posts, reply to a comment, share tips, and build lasting connections with ocean enthusiasts from around the globe.
Mention other divers
Type @ in a comment, a post or your dive notes to mention another diver. They get a notification, and the name links to their profile.
Chat with your dive buddies
Send direct messages to divers you follow or who follow you, with photos, reactions, replies and read receipts. Plan your next trip, share that secret reef, or relive that manta encounter.
Notifications you choose
Hear about likes, comments, mentions, messages, new followers, dives shared with you and trips you joined. Turn each kind of push notification on or off.
Dive sites and dive centers
Find where to dive next, and who to dive with when you get there.
Discover 21,500+ dive sites
Explore every site on a satellite map, or search by name, region or country. The catalogue is on your phone, so the map and search work without a signal.
Everything about a dive site
A site's page shows the dives logged there with their ratings and photos, the site's details, the weather now, and the dive shops nearby.
Add a missing site
Can't find where you dived? Drop a pin, name the site and log your dive. Every new site is checked before the community sees it.
Keep a bucket list
Heart the dive sites you dream of and keep them in one list, ready to plan a trip around.
Find 5,000+ dive centers
Browse dive centers, resorts, liveaboards and clubs around the world, with their contact details, opening hours and directions. Search opens on the ones near you.
Search that knows where to start
Every search tab opens on suggestions instead of an empty box: active divers, clubs and dive centers near you, and trips to plan.
For dive centers and clubs
Everything a dive center or club needs to be found, followed and booked.
A page for your club or dive center
Create a page for a dive center, resort, liveaboard or club, with your description, address, opening hours, phone, email, website and Instagram. Divers can follow it, message it and get directions.
Claim your listing
Your dive center may already be listed among the 5,000+ in the directory. Claim it, and once we have checked the claim, the page is yours to run.
Run your trips
Plan day trips and multi-day trips with a meeting point, times, spots, level and price, and let divers join them. Your followers hear about new trips, and everyone who joined is told if a trip is cancelled.
Post as your page, with your team
Post and log dives as the page, add managers who can do the same, transfer ownership when the team changes, and message divers directly.
See what divers look at
Page insights count the views of your page, your trips, your posts and your dives, over a day, a week, a month or all time, against the period before.
A QR code and poster for your counter
Print your page's QR code on an A4 poster, so divers in your shop can follow you in one scan.
Your diver profile
Your dives, certifications and gear, together.
Build your diving history
Every dive you log adds to it: your certification, your dive count, the photos you brought back, and a globe marking everywhere you have been under water. One place that shows how far you have come.
Keep your certifications together
Add your PADI, SSI, NAUI or other certifications with the level, card number and date. Other divers see your level, never your card number.
Track your gear
Keep your equipment in one list, set your default kit, see how many dives each item has done, and get a date for its next service.
All your photos in one place
Every photo and video you have shared, grouped by the dive or post it belongs to.
Share your diver card
A card with your certification, your dive map, your numbers and a QR code, to share or save as an image.
Your data, your rules
Bring your logbook in, take it out, and decide what others see.
Import existing dive logs
Bring your dive history with you from UDDF, Subsurface, Garmin, Suunto, Divelogs.de or CSV. Import several files in one go; a dive that appears in two of them becomes one, and a file you already imported is skipped.
Export your full logbook
Export all your dives, or the ones you pick, as UDDF, Subsurface, Divelogs.de, Suunto Dive Manager, Suunto SML or CSV. The file is made on your phone, and before you save it the app tells you what the format cannot hold.
Keep a dive private
Mark any dive private and it stays out of the feed and out of share links.
Metric or imperial, light or dark
Choose metres or feet, Celsius or Fahrenheit, bar or psi, and a light or dark look, or let the app follow your phone.
Your account, your call
Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Delete your account whenever you like, and your dives, photos, profile and messages go with it.
