v1.8.1

Diving is better together — and now Scubaspot knows it. Version 1.8.1 is about the people in the water with you: sharing the memory of a dive, building a home for your community, and making the feed feel as alive as the ocean itself.

Share dive logs with your buddies. You were both there — now you can both have the log. Send the full record of a dive to whoever was alongside you. They accept it straight into their logbook and can tweak anything they like. Share with a single buddy, blast it to a whole group at once, or invite someone by email if they are not on Scubaspot yet. No more re-logging dives you did together, no more missing entries. One dive, every diver who was on it.

A home for your club or dive business. Dive clubs and operators finally have a proper place on Scubaspot. Create a page, fill in your details, and let divers follow you. Post updates, log dives, and publish straight to your page. Add managers so your team can keep things running, transfer ownership when staff move on, and let divers message you directly. Whether you run weekend club trips or a full dive centre, your page is open for business.

Video comes alive in the feed. Videos now autoplay as you scroll. The reef, the turtle, the safety stop — all playing right where you find them, no tap required. The feed has always been a window into the underwater world; now it moves.

Faster and smoother. Big performance fixes across the app mean quicker loads and smoother scrolling throughout. Less waiting, more diving.

Smaller things that add up. Toggle push and email notifications separately. Delete notifications you are done with. Suggest fixes to dive site names so the whole community benefits. Plus sharper search and a more consistent look across the app.

Happy bubbles!
